Just an update, all of you trembling fear-filled folks..we are now officially over the 35 total limit for seating on the trolley! SO, Terry is going to ask about booking a second one for us...yay!

This is shaping up to be one gargantuan ghost hunt, if y'ask me. I'm going to have to add another spectre or two just to keep y'all entertained, I can see that, plain as daylight.
So, back to my dreadful dreary drawing board, in the deepest recesses of the darkest dungeon...

Jen, I'll let you know what is needed as we get nearer to the date for meeting in the garden, close to midnight... Garlic Man

Cindy, happy that you liked that one! I was groaning and rolling my eyes while I was posting it! Stand-up? Thanks for the compliment, but I think I'll sit down down rather than stand up, to keep myself from falling over with laughter at everyone's reactions as we roll along on our trolley(s) through the creepy wispy bits of fog that trail along the road to the garden, near midnight...

Where do you take a ghost who's backed into a lawn mower?
To a liquor store. That's where they retail spirits. Roll Eyes

Perhaps you might want to read Margaret DeBolt's 'Savannah Spectres', if you are one of the many scaredy-pants thrill-seekers coming along with me on the Almost at Midnight in the Garden Spooky Savannah tour. I have it on good authority that we'll be confronted with the distinct possibility that some of the friendly fellows in Margaret's book might be waiting to meet us somewhere on our tour.

Everything is unfolding as it should in getting Savannah's ghosts to co-operate with me that far in advance! Let's just say that they are doing their best to commit to appearing for us, keeping in mind that they have no earthly idea where they might have floated off to by then! Joanna's Dancing Man

We're now into the 2 trolley mode, as each trolley holds 35 people and there are 36 of us, so far. My ghostly guide has assured me that there will be as many trolleys as there are us!

...and another sad, sad, somewhat scarey, scarey joke...
When do ghosts usually appear?
Just before someone screams! Eek

Thanks for the DeBolt info Brenda, I will look into it. I swear, from the way Saturday night is shaping up, there may be some of us who will show up looking "scarey" at the brunch on Sunday...I know I don't hold up as well as I used to. Big Grin

...and me also, girlfriend!
You may be correct, Cindy! The Almost Midnight in the Garden Tour will continue on at breakfast on Sunday...only the scarey creatures in plain view will be....us!Happy

Margaret DeBolt's book is the basis for the very-scarey things that are going to be happening Saturday night on the trolley tour into the deep black hole of frightfulness! Eek
I'm going to order a copy for myself from Chapters, and scare myself silly every single night for the next week! It'll get me juiced up for Savannah. Cool

And, yet another very scarey, sad, sad joke...
What do you get when you are brave enough to go on a very scary trolley tour in the deep south city of Savannah?
Scared gritless!

Count me in if possible! There's nothing I like better than a good fright! We need to think about if there is any ghostly trouble, who our sacrificial goat should be. Happy

Pardon the pun, but it won't be this kid! Big Grin

I also have it on good notice that there are rustlings and moanings in the ghostly community on the other side of midnight...a rumour has started that there are a few skeptics among our trolley tour group and that has made the spirits restless! I've no idea what they'll cook up to throw our way now! Eek

Absolutely, Nancy,
We'll have enough people for 2 trolleys, I'm sure. Terry has already suggested to me that we will need another one, so not to worry, there's plenty of space for John!

I've not posted any of the details, including the secret haunting places that we'll be visiting...that includes cemeteries, Nancy! Wink Perhaps, with a good stash of cold hard cash crossing my palm, I might be made to tell...umm, nope, not even $$$ will pry the secret from my cold, crackling fingers!

Certain dank gardens cry aloud for a murder;
certain old houses demand to be haunted;
certain coasts are set apart for shipwrecks." ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

The ghostly spirits have been resting lately, there have been no stirrings from the graves nor any misty floaty-things in the cemeteries and they're rested and refreshed. Now, they are ready and waiting to meet you in April! Big Grin

Kathy, are you SURE you want to take the chance of having icy, chilled fingers trailing across the back of your neck, just as the sun disappears from view? Eek
Kidding, just kidding!Garlic Man

We'll happily welcome you and Bill to our motley crew...there's a possibility that we may have 2 full trolleys of courageous ST'ers, as our first trolley's filled to the brim and we're working on a second one. That's encouraging!

Now the word that you and Bill are joining us will begin to filter down to the nether regions of the underworld, and another spectre will begin rattling skeletal hands with glee, knowing that there are 2 more victims...er, I mean humans...for the Almost at Midnight in the Garden...late-night very-scary trolley tour!Joanna's Dancing Man

What do skeletons say to each other before eating?
Bone appetite!

I hope the martini goblins are warming up for the ride. It looks like a thirsty and parched group of courageous souls who've stepped forward to take this frightful Almost at Midnight in the Garden late night very-scary trolley tour, and we're going to need all the chilled libations that Savannah can muster, just to provide the liquid courage needed to get on board!

Here is the trolley tour list so far...

Ginger and Craig
Earline and Cal
Marcia and David
Colleen K
Jen and Chris
Jerry and Paul
Fred and Joan
Doyle and Ann
