These are the people who will meet together at the first Great Slow Travel Gathering in Savannah. Some will rekindle old friendships and many will make new dear friends. Without a doubt they will appreciate the beauty of Savannah and that wonderful Southern hospitality. Did I mention fun, food, wine and laughter - whenever a group of ST'ers gets together you know there will be lots!

Kathy, it's Nancy L and John (not Thom). Perhaps Joywriter is Nancy and Thom (not John). Thanks!

Sorry Nancy that is my error - I did correct it on our spreadsheet (so all information actually at the Gathering would be correct) but forgot to change it here.

It is in fact Joywriter (another Nancy whose last name also happens to begin with L) who has a husband named Thom!

Not that it matters much, bit here are a few spelling corrections. My name is spelled with two r's and one l. I live in Morris Plains
Thanks,
Sherril from Morris Plains, NJ.

BTW, is there anyone else from NJ coming to the gathering?

Of course it matters - your name is important. I really appreciate people speaking up when they notice an error.

I actually had it correct on our spreadsheet, but was careless in adding to this list. Confused

I guess I'm slower than everybody else Roll Eyes . It didn't occur to me to contact Sheena to tell her that my husband's name is misspelled. He is Cal not Carl.

Thanks,

Now I am really embarrassed - believe it or not I am quite detail oriented!

Just so that you don't loose complete faith .....these three names were all correct on my spreadsheet - the one that really matters!

I promise that you will all have absolutely correct nametags - I know that because Palma is doing them! Wink Grin

I'm off to change Carl to Cal!

We did register late, but our names are not on the master list as of yet. Don't know if that is a big deal.

Kathy, the list that is posted here is only updated from time to time, and is really just for interest (this week I'll do a final complete list).

You and Lou are firmly on my spreadsheet - which is the important one!

I have now posted (at the top of this thread) the final list of those people who will be in Savannah in five weeks.

Now the countdown really begins!

Sheena, I know this seems like pick pick pick. But Cal and I no longer live in Manchester (Podunk Holler) TN. I don't know if our place of residence is going to be on our name tags, but ours is now Murfreesboro TN.

Thank you for your patience! Big Grin

Your residence was based on the information given on the registration form. I think Palma did all of the name tags this weekend - but I'll ask her whether changes can be made.

If not we'll give you a felt pen with your nametag. Big Grin

Earline you are in luck - Palma is going to make the change for you.

No need for the big felt pen!

Gee...you mean my name tag will say I'm from Elmer? I can't even FIND Elmer! It apparently has a post office though Smile That's what I get for living in the boonies!

Less than 3 weeks to go!

Anne, I can't take responsibility for where you live - or what you wrote on your registration form. Any chance you could move in the next three weeks? Big Grin

Move....but I still haven't unpacked from the move there!!! It's only been 2 years, after all! (but I did get bookshelves built while I was on my trip, so now I can start to unpack when I get home for longer than 2 days (which will be sometime in late April!)

The joys of living in the middle of nowhere, but only 15 miles from a decent-sized town Smile
