So, just posting my photos form the dinner at The Mansion...guess what I found?
ORBS in 4 of the photos!

Here you go...see for yourself. Very interesting. No dust or moisture on the lens that shows up in any of the other photos taken at the same time...hmmmmm!

Q: What did the ghost teacher say to her class?
A: Watch the board and I'll go through it again. Roll Eyes

Orbs! How interesting! Mundanely it could be evaporation/vapor/condensation in the lens from outside to inside or if the camera was placed snugly beside someone and was warm and then removed to the cooler air of the restaurant for taking photos? Orrrrr of course, I'm a bigger metaphysical fan of the spiritual unexplanined qualities of the orbs .... I can feel Michael has a spiritual side, me too, and of course there's Kendall! Can't speak for Thom!

The interesting thing is that I took all of those photos around the same time, with the exception of a couple of them at our table that were taken earlier. There's no 'moisture' or 'dust' showing up on any of the other images. Hmmmmm, wonder what that says? Big Grin

I was quite shocked to see the orbs on these images, as I didn't expect to see them at all. I was busy as a bee uploading all of my photos and changing them from one album to several separate ones. I noticed the family of orbs on Michael's chair and then the one by your left hand and then started looking at all of the images taken in that room and found the others. So, we had a family visit from....?

Do you think this has anything to do with the Mansion's former life as a funeral home?? Eek I believe the funeral home was the building where the restaurant is now located.

A-HA!
I KNEW there was something going on, because I took so many photos with the same camera and the same environment in a short period of time that night. No chance for moisture or dust to be on the lens in one image and not in the other.
These orbs showed up on random photos, I thought.

Soooo, a funeral home?
You don't say! Happy
Wonder what was originally located in the funeral home underneath the area where the orbs manifested themselves?
That's perfect, Kathy.

Rob's been in the photo field for years and he can not explain some of these images/shots/orbs. And he would like to be able toooooooo ... booo
Seriously, he has tried. Maybe when we get home and downloads the images on to the desktop he can, but he doubts it. We'll see.

I know I am repeating myself ....

Wendy and Rob,
I'm going to e-mail the original photos of our dinner at the Mansion to you. I was so shocked when I saw the orbs in those photos, because I so totally was not looking for them or expecting them to be there at all. Especially, NOT in the dining room at The Mansion. Still, there they are and I didn't alter or play with these images.

I took quite a few photos around the room, of each table and the orbs are only in the area of the center of the room to the doorway, including the table that Michael was sitting at and the hallway where Ken is standing.

AND, remember...these photos were taken before we went on the Ghost Tour and learned about the possibility of orbs in our photos. They were taken on Thursday evening and the Ghost Tour wasn't until Saturday night. Verrrry interesting! Joanna's Dancing Man

Someone was explaining the layout of the dining area. Remember how the sliding doors closed off our room to the main dining area? (Mac and Karen were seated just outside our room on the other side of the doors.) Well they said that some oblong rooms such as the room we were in were used as viewing rooms...hmm oblong being the perfect fit for caskets? Remembering the unusual dimensions of our specific dining room...would explain the privacy for viewing needed with sliding doors...ooooohhhh a bit creepy! but fun. Barb Cabot

Hay Barb, besides being a funeral home there were deaths of an unseemly manner there also, at least according to one person I talked to.

I'll add my pictures when I slow down, Karen & I went on up to Charleston after we left Savannah. Beautiful homes, great restaurants, worthy of our next GTG (I'll bring more lemoncello next time)

OK guys, now this is getting out of hand. On my first review of my pictures I found nothing, then.......before we went to Cha Bella we meet at a house on Washington square that Jane had rented. If you look at the upper left between the door and the African mask you will see an ORB Eek I took other pictures that evening in the house and no ORB elsewhere! Uh-uh No! I took a close look at the ORB and it is not a item hanging on the wall but looks detached! Free bottle of my famous Lemoncello to who ever can prove this is not what I think it is.

Had a great time with everyone and Karen & I are looking forward to the next GTG.

Mac,
That limoncello of yours is spectacular, the best I've ever tasted, that's for sure. Do I win a case of that liquid gold, just for confirming that you've just photographed an orb in existence?
How cool is this? I think very cool! Cool

I'm planning to post all of my photos that have orbs visible, and am going to move them to an 'orb album'...if you want to post your orb images in that same place, we can have Marta or Kim move them all together...hoo-hoo! Limoncello, indeed!

I'm sorry, it's almost 11:00 p.m. and I'm checking the boards AGAIN and whoaaaaa...Mac that orb is a "good one!" I think it was Jerry that said these boards are addictive...I'm hooked but that said, I'm also a bit creeped out! Orbs abounding everywhere! Yikes and then did if follow us to Cha Bella or was that his brother? Gee, will I be able to fall asleep now?

BRENDA,
1. What size are cases in Canada? Confused
2. You confirmed the ORB, not discredited it(this ORB thing is freaking me out Eek)
3. Are you telling me there are others who had ORB sitings?
4. If Jean Soderlind was right about the spirits not wanting to leave Savannah; at least we do not have to worry about them following us home....maybe.
5. Thank you for all the work you and the GTG crew did for the GTG, Karen & I had a fantastic time and are looking forward to the next GTG.(yes you'll get a Texas size bottle of limoncello at the next GTG along with the rest of the GTG crew Wine )

Barb,
I didn't know about the various lives of the restaurant! That's very interesting to me, and maybe explains the gathering of orbs at our dinner.

Hi, Mac,
Cases in Canada are HUGE! Big Grin
I'll tell you any size at all to scam a large number of your delish limoncello. My compliments, it is excellent!

The round spot in your photo is definitely an orb. I'm still finding them in a random selection of photos. Strange that they only show up around a few people and not around everyone.

There are several of us who have orb photos, Mac! Besides me, Mindy has a couple from the Ghost Tour, Trish also took a couple that night, Wendy and Rob have a gorgeous little fellow in their photo, Jane has a great one, plus your images are showing orbs, as well as several of mine.
Let's start an orb album...we can ask a lovely mod to add all of our photos to that album! Too fun! I've posted another photo below, with an orb on the wood at top left, and also one smaller orb on the white wall above Michael's head.

I'm so happy you both enjoyed yourself in Savannah! It was a smashing good time for me, also. Nothing but good food and good people, a lot of new friends (and a few orbs!!!) to make it a very special time.

Brenda,
ORB’s! Their everywhere! Their everywhere! Eek If you look at our picture, at the side of the African mask near the top to the right of the door there is a profile shadow of a face spotted by our youngest daughter. It is hard to see but it is there. I’ve looked over all my pictures and this is the only one invaded with ORB’s so let me know where to post it for the ORB collection.

By the way I know what HUGE in Texas means but Canada? Wink Grin

This trip was the best we have taken to Savannah and I’m blaming it on the wonderful Slowtrav group (and of course the few ORB’s). Happy Meeting Jean at the Pirates House really gave us an insider’s view of Savannah and all the activities to meet everyone were over the top. Joanna's Dancing Man Savannah has always had a reputation as a party town and I’m glad we got to add too that reputation; we must agree, a smashing go time indeed. Chicken Dance

Mac & Karen

Karen insists you know our youngest daughter; here she is after receiving an award at Texas A&M with the then president of A&M a few years back.
