I'm coming, looking forward to meeting everyone I have not met and hanging out more with everyone I have.

Thanks to the planners for getting this all together. It looks to be a fabulous event.

What was I writing Confused I meant to say:
The ball is really rolling well now.
And
There are so many to meet and so little time.

Sorry about the earlier phrasing

Just had to say that it is almost a day later and I am still rolling around laughing over

"Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit."

So looking forward to meeting you Pokey.

And to think that just last night I watched Paula Deen and her son Jamie deep fry a wedge of lasagna. I only have to watch them and I gain a pound or three.

I am so excited, I just sent in my registration. I will be coming alone, unless I can talk my sister into coming too. So I will be looking to share a room.

What a great job everyone envolved in the planning has done. I really look forward to meeting everyone.

There There Don't worry, Sandra. Shirley (Yayoye) and I are also sharing a room at the Staybridge Suites as two single ST GTG participators. We can get into more trouble that way! Razz

We're coming!
What a great opportunity for a road trip, getting us out of the wintry Midwest (April is just barely spring) and into the sunny south. We've never been to Savannah.
Looking forward to meeting people, and seeing a few people who we've already had the pleasure to meet.

I just registered!

My boyfriend just decided to go on a surf trip to Indonesia for the first part of April...and if he's going to go somewhere, then I need to, too! How's that for logic?

I just registered for the Savannah trip. I read the book, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil ten years ago and got the taste for Savannah. It looks like I am finally going to be able to take a bite. I can't wait. I have one question for others who have signed up. I will be going as a single separated woman. Are there others in my situation?

I kept looking at this thread since the idea of Savannah took flight and life, and I kept delaying coming out and saying how I envy all those for whom it will be possible to gather in Savannah.

I am sure it will be a great event. A lot of thought, ingenuity and work were invested by the organisers in scouting and choosing the location and planning the great GTG and nobody can possibly love Get-togethers more than I do, but...

...Unfortunately, all I can contribute here is to express how disappointed I am that we will not be there. It so happens that practical, timing and family considerations, and some circumstances of uncertainty just don't make it possible.

I will be there in spirit, and wish you all a great time!

We'll miss you Doru, but there will be lots of other GTG opportunities to meet you, and for you to meet others!
