Hello Cmgl10s,
Yes, there are ATMs at the airport. They are easy to find.
Unfortunately there is no Dart line running out to the airport. You will have to take a coach or a bus into the centre (unless you happen to be at the right time for the direct bus – see below) and then pick up another bus or the Dart line. I would suggest the latter.
You are probably best going for
this bus the 748, and getting out at Tara Street station to pick up your Dart to Dun Laoghaire. You can buy the bus tickets at the information desk, as you can see here in the link, and they take credit cards, I am almost sure. You have to have your ticket before you board the bus. The journey will take you over an hour whatever way you choose but it is so dependent on traffic conditions that it is difficult to say exactly.
Some Dart stations take credit cards but some don’t so I would strongly recommend you have cash on you.
Alternatively you can take one bus from the airport into the centre, either the Aircoach, the double decker, Airlink, above, OR if you arrive at the right time, there is another bus, the 746 which actually goes the whole way to Dun Laoghaire. It is much cheaper and slower as it stops a lot and it only runs once every hour. You need the exact money and I’m afraid I don’t know the fare to Dun Laoghaire. If you take one of the other airport buses you can get off somewhere like O’Connell street to pick up one of the other buses which go to Dun Laoghaire (which are: 7, 7a, 8, 45a, 46a, 59, 75, or 111). I am not sure if all of them have stops in O’Connell Street. You might have to check that.
Here is the timetable for the
746 direct busIn checking this for you, I have also found a brand new service
the xpresso but it appears from their timetable that they just have one bus going ONLY in the Dun Laoghaire to Airport direction and ONLY at 7.30 am, ONLY Monday to Friday, but, with luck, this might suit your return trip!
