I followed your January GTG thread wishing I could have been there with you all - and hoping that having had a taste of a GTG, you would be ready for another by March. As I mentioned in this GTG thread, my adult daughter and I will be visiting London and hope that we will have a chance to meet some of you.

The best dates for us would be Monday, March 3rd, or Tuesday March 4th - our schedule those days is open. We could do lunch, or tea, or dinner.

Anyone interested? Available? If so - let me know (probably best done on the existing GTG thread, unless one of the mods can link the two somehow).

If it was the Tuesday it would have to include some birthday cake for me!

Panda - I'm sure that could be arranged! But wouldn't your family miss you if you ran off to London on your birthday?

Well, they wouldn't notice if it was lunch or tea - dinner might have to be negotiated! (I could have an Unbirthday with them on Saturday and really string it out!)

I hope I shall be able to make it. It would be a good excuse for another trip to London.

I'm usually game for a GTG. It's always a bit dicey at lunchtime during the week as things can suddenly get busy but I'm happy to try.

Same for me - preference for a Tuesday if possible, I think, though I might be able to swap things around a bit.

We are up for this too. Currently we are scheduled to fly from Gatwick on Tuesday March 4, but I think we will be staying here longer.

Is that so you can try to get some days without rain, or are you just gluttons for punishment? Big Grin

Beebee -- I think Pauline just doesn't want to miss a GTG!

Hugh, Patrick and Beebee - glad you are interested in another gathering. Tuesday actually is the better of the two days for us. As for lunch vs. dinner if Panda's family is willing to celebrate her Tuesday birthday in advance, and if Maria and Hugh can do dinner, that would mean no one would have to rush back to work. Let me know your thoughts.

Evening is fine for me too. I might bring my husband to this one.

Bumping this to say I've started a new thread on the GTG forum where we can arrange details of our March 4th dinner.

Probably best to have the new thread in the GTG forum be linked to the UK forum, since not everyone looks at the other forum.

Maria - I think only the mods can link the two posts together - but until I figure out how to get their attention - there is more information at the post in the GTG forum here.
