Trading in Silverjet shares have been suspended. They have run into difficulty in re-financing.

So many budget airlines are being pushed out of business lately with these rising fuel costs. It's sad... and probably rather frustrating for customers already booked up.

Not a budget airline - SilverJet is the third business-class only airline to fail in the last six months (after MaxJet and EOS). When these airlines started, the major airlines competed against them for business class travel by making their prices more competitive.

It is definitely lights out for Silverjet. More like Bronzejet now. I heard fliers will also not get theior money back?

I read yesterday that there was a potential buyer - not that this will help anyone booked to fly in the near future.

Silverjet does now look as if it will fly again, but current tickets will not be honored and you might someday get a partial refund.
