Hello Am looking at renting ths apartment, wondering if anyone has stayed there? Any opinion? We have 3 small children under 10, so need to be close to transport.
It doesn't include a map, so it's impossible to say if "5 to 10 minute walk to South Kensington or Gloucester Rd." Tube is optimistic, or if it's also on a bus route, which some people prefer anyway. Or whatever. It's nice to be near one of those two, as they are served by the District and Circle lines and the Piccadilly Line. More lines is good in general, and it makes it easy to take the tube in from Heathrow if you want.
So see if you can find out that street it's on.
I would also inquire what floor it's on, and if there's a lift. There's a bit of railing on one of the photos, but it could be the very top floor! As you go up in some of those buildings the stairs get VERY steep.
In general, that's a lovely area though. Lots of shops and restaurants and near the parks for the kids.
