Probably you do, but I thought I'd mention it. While researching a trip my buddy Kim and I making (when I told her I'm planning a vacation, she said she needed one too, so she's flying over from the States and we're going together!), I checked a site I've used before -- Superbreak. I found a 7 night stay in Luxor for a total price of £94 (taxes included, they charge no c/c or booking fees) in a 5-star on the banks of the Nile (breakfast included). Tunis was all of £138 for 7 nights (breakfast and dinner included). I've used them before for my stay in Spain (3 nights for price of 2) and it worked out great.

For those who want self-catering instead, they have lots of them for as little as £95-100 for 7 nights.

It looks to be a UK/Europe site only Confused Now if only the flights were as good Roll Eyes (Luxor was £380 rtn and Tunis was £168 rtn). But they do have packages (checking those out now). So I thought I'd let everyone know, in case you're looking for great breaks. Even lastminute doesn't have them this cheap.

No, I hadn't come across this site. The deals look really good. If you come across a site that includes travel as well please let us know.

I was looking all over the site for packages that included travel, but to no avail. Maybe that's why they can offer such good deals? What I'd like to find is one geared towards us for travel -- although the prices I came up with weren't overly bad, they weren't the greatest. I used Kayak.

Yes, have heard of it.
We have used Superbreak a few times for hotels in England - they often have excellent rates for hotels in London, also good for rail inclusive packages.

Maria - have you tried looking at the TV for those teletext deals? Two of my children booked a last minute holiday to Greece through that and it was a huge success.

It was for a flight + self catering deal and they took a chance. They had a lovely little two bedroomed flat for the two of them in a delightful seaside village on the Greek mainland although they didn't know exactly where they would end up when they booked (about a week in advance). It was ridiculously cheap and transfers were included as well. I had always avoided teletext because it looked TOO good to be true!

Felicity, I've caught them occasionally, but usually only when it's at the very end and I haven't seen anything other than the phone number and some low price Roll Eyes I'll have to try to catch them now -- sometimes they come on in the wee early morning hours. Perfect! It's also good to know that someone's done it before and had good luck with it.

Thanks for the information. I often use http://www.skyscanner.net/ for travel.
