I'm trying to fid out if the Britrail England Flexipass is good for the London Tube and/or any buses or coaches (I'll be spending a good bit of time in Derbyshire, relying on buses). I emailed the info email at the web site to ask and they responded dumbly with the line "The BritRail flexipass is good for rail in the UK." That didn't answer my question! Anyone know? I am trying to decide between the 4 and 8 day pass because I need 5 days of train travel, but if it's good also for the Tube and any buses or coaches, I"ll definitely get the 8 day pass. Otherwise I may get the 4 day pass and pay for one train fare. Tracy
Tracy, I'm making a total assumption here, but I don't think the Britrail covers the tube because under Complementary Products you can find the London visitor Travelcard for purchase which "Gives you access to London's extensive Underground network, the "Tube" as well as the bus system." I'm not sure why the pass would offer that as a complementary product if it was already included in the purchase price, but I could be wrong.
Tracy - Kim is absolutely correct. The pass does NOT cover the London Underground. Nor does it cover buses and coaches unfortunately, just rail travel.
I expect you know also about all the different types of pass? - you don't need to buy a Brit pass but an England pass if you are not going out of England.
