Last year in May we spent a week in a cottage in Somerset (and loved it). One night we went to the chip cart that drives around to several small towns and sells chips one night a week. We saw a sign announcing the chip cart that night in Curry Mallet, a village close to where we were staying.

I took a bunch of photos and put them in my United Kingdom section:

A couple of days ago, I got an email from the person who owns the chip cart!!! Their website is marked on the cart - www.chipcart.co.uk - but I did not have it listed on SlowTrav (I do now). They must have been Googling for Currey Mallet and found my SlowTrav pages.

I just looked at your photo album, and enjoyed all your lovely pictures of the towns and countryside. The pictures of the Westbury White Horse were fabulous!! I've never seen such close ups. Didn't it make you mad to see that grafitti, though?
