No, I have been in London a number of times during Wimbledon and unless you are planning to stay right in the town of Wimbledon, near the courts or in the hotel where most players stay, then you have nothing to worry about. If you were going to London for the matches you would have reserved months ago and the prices quoted for that period of time. London or the part where most tourists stay is a good ten miles away and so there isn't much effect on the availability or price. If you like tennis at all you might try to go out in early evening and wander around. We use to go when the biggest matches were almost over and go to the outer courts and watch. You can also get into the tennis museum easily this time of year.

It can have some impact in the upscale hotels (4-5  ) Unlikely to have any impact on other hotels, B&Bs, etc. But this year, travel is down due to the recession, so impact is probably not that great. Dave White
