Tara~ I enjoyed reading your trip report. It sounds like y'all had a jolly good time.
I was in London over Thanksgiving, visiting my sister. We were in the same neighborhood, just a few weeks apart. I'm sure the snow was a huge hit with the kids~ they wouldn't have had that in Atlanta.
Tara - thanks so much for the delightful report. I had been wondering how your England vacation was going! Great ideas for successful travel with kids, too.

I've loved reading your trip report. Thank you very much indeed. I hope the children enjoyed it (despite what they might have said at the time!) as much as you obviously did. Thank you for bringing back the memory of the sound of a stone skimming across ice. I'm sorry you weren't able to see all of Hamlet ... well worth catching if you ever get the chance.

Tara, I read most of your report a few days ago and just came back to finish up. I had been hoping to get some feedback about your Christmas trip, especially your time in the Cotswolds, and was so pleased you wrote a report. It was a great read and I loved all the details. We've never had a Christmas trip to England, but with realistic expectations, I think I would enjoy it.
The church at Swinbrook is one of our favorites too... we were there this summer just to take another look.
It was interesting reading about the whole nature of flying standby... a free trip, carryon luggage, some amount of stress, possibility of not getting on balanced by the possibility of business class. I don't have that option but reading about this part of your travel adventure added to the fun.
Thanks again so much... and look forward to some reviews when you have time!
