As you may have seen on Pauline's trip report posting, Wendy and I vistited Kiftsgate garden with Pauline and Steve last weekend.

We were treated to the most amazing carpet of bluebells I have ever seen.

I hope you enjoy these photos:

I can just see the fairies and wee folk celebrating in this gorgeous place. (But I just got done reading Daughter of the Forrest. Smile)

Ginger

P.S. Where and what is the "ha ha" photo?

What an amazing coincidence! Just this morning, I was looking at a photo on my son's bedroom mirror of my mom, Stephanie, and Alex in the forest at Halle, Belgium when the bluebells were in full bloom. It was the most amazing and beautiful sight. For about 2 weeks in the early part of May, you could walk forever and it was a magical carpet of blue. My mom was enchanted by them...and the photo is a really neat memory.

Thanks, Richard!

Beautiful photos Richard - I have some exactly the same (whenever Richard took a photo, I stood beside him and took one too Big Grin ).

This was the best display of bluebells we have ever seen. Steve said "take all those photos of bluebells off the website, this is what a field of bluebells looks like". It was amazing!! It went on forever and was like walking through a cloud of purple and blue. A BIG THANKS to Wendy and Richard for taking us to these gardens - we would never have found this on our own.
