I gather Michel Roux is under siege in Bray
north of Windsor.

Has anyone dined at either spot recently? Reviews?

A quick Google brought plenty of reviews of the 2 places, but none from a source that I trusted. But Heston Blumenthal, chef at the Fat Duck, has now got a very high reputation; I get the impression that Michel Roux's glory days were in the past, and his son, who now shares the job at Waterside, isn't as highly rated.

I do have a review, here, of Blumenthal's latest outfit. Jay Rayner's reviews are pretty trustworthy, though it must be added that Blumenthal is now a weekly columnist for the Guardian, the Observer's sister paper. If you follow food links from the Observer review, you should be able to find some of Blumenthal's articles.
