Can we buy a prepaid cell phone at terminal one? I am assuming coming from CDG to Heathrow on BA that we will be coming into this terminal?

Um - I thought all the BA Paris flights were now into Terminal 5 ? Certainly looked that was when I was perusing the arrival boards there last week - they moved the short hauls over first (except for some domestics), and it is the remainder of the long hauls that have been delayed.

Further: I have just looked at today's Heathrow arrivals from Paris - Air France is coming into Terminal 2 but all the BA CDG arrivals are listed as T5.

Great,for some reason I didn't think it was ALL BA flights...oh well they should definately have a cell phone store there.

You should realise T5 is actually a shopping mall, where for your convenience aircraft parking facilities are available. Nokia, Sony and Dixons all have stores in T5.

As a further services they will keep your luggage for a few hours so you don't feel guilty about spending time shopping.

Just a thought - I think most of the super shiny shopping is in Departures, once you have gone through security. There is only a Duty Free shop as you come through the arrivals hall - there is no Dixons, which is where I would have thought was the place for phones. There's not much once you come out of arrivals (except coffee) and the pre-security area of check in has smallish WH Smiths and Boots. Do they sell phones?

Yes that's what I was thinking too, all of the shops are usually in departures area, not usually in the arrivals area. We really need a phone when we pick up the car we are on the way to Devon and need to connect with family members. I guess we will have to get off the motorway to find a store. I have yet to do mappy.com to find out directions to our location yet so not sure whats on the way. Just didn't want to have to get off the motorway to buy a phone! My fault procrastinating on this...
