Hey everyone!

My sister and her hubby are joining me in Scotland for a trip with our parents, but they are also going to Greece to visit her husband's family. So they have a weird itinerary - they want to go either:

Washington DC - Greece - Edinburgh - Washington DC
Or
Washington DC - Edinburgh - Greece - Washington DC

Initially the quotes I'm finding are as much as $1500. I'm spending about 860 to get to Scotland, so I'm surprised that it's doubled. Any ideas on how to bring the cost down (they're flexible - maybe a train somewhere in the equation)? I know Greece isn't that close to Scotland Smile But any tips on inter-Europe airlines or options to try would be welcome!

Any ideas?
