We are now booked 28May for 4 nights at the Alpenrose in Wengen. While we will have Eurail SelectPasses, we are considering the BO Regional Pass too. The EurailPass seems to provide a 25% discount on some of the mountain transportation. Would the expensive, 263CHF, 7 day BO Pass for 3 days almost unlimited transport be a good investment? The differential calculations are worse than differential calculus.

From Wengen to anywhere will require public transport. I do suggest that you take the time to make the calculations, especially concerning the mountain top destinations: Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn. Depending on your plans the 7 day pass could save you money.

It will, at the least make your decisions for you. It will be paid for and you can hop on and off without further thought about cost. Not so if you start pricing (and disecting) every transportation decision.

It's only money. Enjoy.

ps, loved Schilthorn
