I'm planning to take the bus from Trieste to Istria (Crotia) but it turns out that the Monday after Easter, March 24 is a holiday in Croatia.
Does anyone know how to find out how that affects the bus schedules - and if those buses are run by the Italians or Croatians.

On this page ( Slow Travel Note's for Croatia), you will see information relating to buses between Trieste and different points in Croatia. There is a phone number that I listed there for the Trieste bus station. They speak Italian, Croatian and English, so you should have no problem finding out the info that you need.

Try to avoid holiday because everyone are traveling then and it's very crowded, especially on borders. If you can travel few day before or after Easter.
