We are traveling to France in the spring and are looking at flying into London Or Paris. Is it easier to do DeGaulle to Orley or Heathrow to Stanstead? (Great prices to Heathrow for March to May flights) It seems that all of Air France's regional flights from Paris are now out of Orley. We are going to Provence(Nice) and then Sw France. Also if we choose BA and then Ryanair has anyone used Ryan to fly to Provence? Our car would be in Nice but it looks like we would have to fly into Nimes or Genoa. One last question. Does france have an equivilant to Ryanair for its regional flights? Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you looked at Air Transat? I believe they have direct flights from Toronto and Montreal to Nice. Unless you are planning a stopover in London or Paris, this would save a lot of hassles with connections.

Problem solved. Booked British Airways from Detroit to Heathrow and to Nice (short layover) returning Toulouse to Gatwick, transfer to Heathrow return to Detroit. Thanks for your help. Don't think I could stand Air Transats small seats again. Gerry near London
