We will be visiting friends in Slovakia late in October and would like to spend 4 or so days at the end of the trip seeing some part of Croatia. What is the weather like along the coast towards the end of October? Do the seaside towns shut down? Comments and suggestions welcomed. Thank you.

Some of the smaller seaside towns shut down, but the larger ones like Zadar are "up and running" all year.

We'll be there during the first half of October.
