Hi

I am travelling to Vienna in August for 4 days and wish to take a side trip to Prague for 2 days. I could take the train, but I am very interested in visiting Cesky Krumlov, which by public transportation will eat into my time. So I was wondering if there is any car service available that will take me from Vienna to Prague via Linz and Cesky Krumlov. Any help, suggestion will be greatly appreciated. We will be travelling to salzburg for two days from Prague and then to Munich for 6 days (work related). Also, is it worth taking a day trip from Vienna to Budapest, when I'm already planning a day for Melk for the danube boat trip. Please advise, this is my first time to this region. We are not planning to drive as we would be staying in big cities, but in these 14 days want to maximize the total experience. Thank you.

Budapest is worth the time - and will be rough to cover in one day. The tourist shopping street and the market are a good visit. Plus you can get a one-day museum pass. You probably want to stay on the Buda side of the river - Pest is a little less compact. If you have time for music, the orchestra and opera are wonderful.
