We're 2 Aussies who've been in Europe for the Winter Olympics & we've been collecting lots of souvenirs, presents, etc. As we're not heading home for another couple of months, we'd like to send back some of our excess from France or Spain. Can anyone advise the best, cheapest, easiest, etc way to do this? Thanks, Wes & Chris

Hi Wes and Chris--

Welcome to Slow Travel-- and I hope you had a great time at the Olympics!

Here's a link to some information I posted on this message board a couple of months ago concerning our efforts to ship stuff home from several European countries (including major shipments from France, where we lived for 6-1/2 months). I think there will be some helpful information to you. There isn't any real "cheap" way (other than getting other people to take stuff back for you!) and the less expensive methods may also be the most risky. I think you will have the best luck shipping back from cities that have lots of international students where there is a high demand for this service.
