Last May to July my wife and I backpacked around Europe for 2 months. With only 2 weeks left on our trip, someone stole our camera including all of our pictures up to that point. The whole thing really sucked! Well, now I am trying to retrace our steps and get pictures of the places we went so I can put together a photo album and suprise my wife with it for our anniversary. I have been looking on the internet for quite some time now to try and get pictures that are high enough quality to be made into prints, but have not been able to find a lot of places that we went. If you could please email me some print quality pictures of places that we went I would really appreciate it: scottadelman@gmail.com

These are some of the places I am currently looking for:

Cassis, France (Town, beach, cove, and the yellow hostel way up on the hill)
Innsbrook, Austria
Hallstatt, Austria
Biasa, Italy (Its a little town east of the Cinque Terra in the hills)
Cinque Terra
Freiburg, Germany
Luxemburg
Reims, France
Pisa, Italy (Around town)
Trier (Porta Negra, Roman Baths, around town)
Interlaken, Switzerland
Bern, Switzerland
Salzburg, Austria (Beer halls, main park, and around town)
Brugge, Belgium

Any pictures that I can make prints out of would be greatly appreciated! Thank you thank you thank you!

That is so sweet! The thought of someone stealing (or more likely ME losing) my camera makes me ill. It is a (travel) nightmare. I really feel for you.

I have photographs, of these areas, very few are digital. I would be happy to make copies and send them to you. I will contact you by email.

It might take me a little while to get organized (gotta dig up the rolls) but I can probably supply:

Bern
Hallstatt
Salzburg
Pisa
Cinque Terra

When is your anniversary???
I am glad you posted here---you might want to post in the other forums (france, italy).

There are many here who could and will be probably be willing to help you. This community is very resourceful and generous and sympathetic to people trying to do a good thing like you are. They also like photographs--so you are likely to get good ones... Wink

She is lucky to have such a sweetheart!

Hi Scott (or is it Clint?),

I just sent you an e-mail message. Our family traveled in Europe for an extended time and visited several of the same places you did during the summer months. I can help you with Salzburg, Brugge and Pisa. I also have photos of Innsbruck and Halstatt, but they are in December, so I'm not sure they'll be that similar to what you saw in the summertime.

Good luck to you with this wonderful project! And I hope we hear more from you on Slow Travel. I'd love to know more about your experiences...

Kathy

Hey every one! Thanks for all of your help. I am well on my way now to putting together an incredible album thanks to all of you. Note: It will not let me reply to your private messages, please send notes directly to: scottadelman@gmail.com Ok, so what I really need at this point in order are:
1) The yellow hostel on top of the hill in Cassis, France
2) Shots of the town of Biasa, Italy.
3) The Half Moon Brewery and the windmills in Brugge
4) Parks in Salzburg and Innsbrook, Austria and beer halls in Salzburg.
5) Waterfalls in Hallstatt, Austria (in town and the trail that leads to one).

Thanks again for all of your help!

Scott

If all else fails you could try a Google image search - I just did a quick one and there's a lot for Biasa but you have to wade through it......here's a link to the main search page for Images
