We are going to Prague then will go to northern Poland [Szubin] which, apparently, you need to go to via Berlin [at least for faster/easier travel. So I need to rent a car that can be rented in Prague, go to Berlin via highway, drive to NPoland and back to Prague - we could also train it to Berlin and rent there but I'd like to do the former instead. Any suggestions on companies over there which will allow going thru all three companies relatively easily? Thanks.

Renting a car in a country in Eastern or Central Europe and dropping it off elsewhere, say, in Germany, used to be something of a problem. Since you plan to pick up and return a rental in Prague, though, that shouldn't be an issue.

Check with Auto Europe. I trust them.

Another recommendation from Auto Europe. I've used them in the past and they are super. I rented my car in Aachen and dropped off in Berlin.
