We will be spending two weeks in Switzerland in late summer. Second week is in Weggis and we will have a car for that week. I have been planning to get up early on date of departure, turn in car in Lucerne and take the train to Zurich airport. There is a train that would get us to the airport at 8:13 am for a flight that leaves at 10:00 am. I am now having second thoughts about arriving at the airport that late - especially after reading some discussions on other message boards.
I would appreciate any feedback as to whether that will leave us enough time to make our flight.

What day of the week? If it is Monday morning, it could be tight, but should be ok for the rest of the week.

When we flew out of Zurich on the first Saturday last July, we arrived almost three hours early for our flight. We had way too much time.

Since we already checked-in online, it only took a few minutes to check-in our luggage. I knew that we could have arrived an hour later but played it safe because we had a two-hour train ride with one change to get to the airport. After 5 weeks of Swiss train travel, we knew that the trains were very dependable but gave ourselves plenty of time to catch our flight anyway.
