Because of poor connections we have to overnight in Frankfurt. Any suggestions regarding a reasonably priced hotel (around Eu100 or less) with airport shuttle service are appreciated.
Thank you.

Dennis,

I haven't personally stayed any closer to Frankfurt Int'l. Airport than Wiesbaden so I can't make a specific recommendation, but I just checked online. There seem to be several facilities nearby that would meet your criteria in terms of price and 24-hour shuttle service. Check out the listings on Expedia.com.

About a year and a half ago, we had the same predicament. We didn't want to spend much, didn't expect much - just wanted to be close to the airport for a morning flight by taxi or shuttle.
We stayed in the Comfort Inn Frankfort Airport, in an adjacent Frankfurt suburb, quite close. The place looked unimpressive and quite bland, but the room was reasonably priced. However, the place had two big pluses, which would make us happy to return.

One plus was the fabulous breakfast that comes with your room. Completely unexpected. It was a fresh delicious buffet, one of the best ever. One of those breakfast buffets that could become a good meal, and that's great before starting an airport/airplane experience.
The other plus was a nearby beergarden, just a few blocks away, tucked into a residential neighborhood. It was a classic. An old building, big trees, picnic tables, local people. Great food and of course great beer. It was old (I bet it had been there before the houses, when the area was countryside) and huge, right on a local bike path. I wish I could name the place, but the hotel desk told us about it when we asked about a place to eat, and you could just ask them.
I don't remember them having a shuttle, but we took a taxi without a problem, and it was cheap and quick.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Moerfelden (Langenerstrasse 200, Moerfelden,
64546, Germany, Phone: 011 - 49 - 6105 – 9660)
twice before catching early flights out of Frankfurt. It's clean and quiet but they now charge for using the shuttle to the airport, but not from it.

There is a decent Italian restaurant (Ristorante Tommasi) across the street and down a road, easily within walking distance, and the hotel has a good breakfast.

I stayed at the Hotel Ibis Frankfurt Airport in Kelsterbach. I payed something like 70-80 euros for a double room. Nice clean rooms, and free shuttle to and from the airport. It is also within walking distance from a railway station, so it's possible to go directly to Franfurt city without having to go to the airport first.
