Well, the decisions are finally made and the trip is booked.

Originally we were going to go straight to Lucerne, but the hotel that Nancy from Florence had found for her trip turned out to be not so great and the day I was making the decision I felt tired and did not want to think about taking a train to Lucerne after a flight to Europe - so took the easy way out and we are going to Zurich as we usually do. Also, I could not find any good sounding vegetarian restaurants in Lucerne and there are two great ones in Zurich. But, to be adventurous, we are trying a new hotel. This one is in a residential neighborhood.
One week in Engelberg - a new town for us!
One week in Grindelwald. We were going to try Meiringen but changed our mind - because we have not been to Grindelwald since 1997 and we love the hiking there. The people who we rented from last time have a new chalet with several apartments, so we are just renting one of them.
