Gene, Welcome to Slow Talk! We don't have much (if any!) Scandinavia info on the message boards or the Slow Travel website, but in THIS LINK Pauline has some good ideas on where else you might look for travel recommendations. I'm going to retitle your post to make your request a bit clearer. Good luck!

With 3 children cities are seldom fun for a longer period. I suggest that you stay some days in Copenhagen and then move on to the island of Bornholm. It is a danish island and they specialize in bycycle-tours. The nature is beautiful, with rocks, round churches, little fisher-villages, smoked herring, and lots and lots of roads only for bycycles. Being a rock-island it takes time to warm it and time for it to become cold again, so late summer is the best period there.

Gene,
I will be traveling to Sweden with my 2 young children in a few weeks. I'll let you know what I find when I get back. Of course, going to Scandinavia in the winter and going in the summer are 2 different things... I have a preference for the Baltic coast in the summer, myself. We'll see what I think in the winter.
Maybe between the 2 of us we can get some Scandinavian info. on the website!
