Does anyone know of a villa rental company that features in Greek properties, specifically Crete?
There used to be a woman whose first name was Catherine who offered a catalog of properties on Crete I believe, but she never took her company online and I have lost her information.
We loved Rethymno and I am recommending it to some friends as a possible vacation, but they don't want to stay in a hotel.

When you do a google search, it starts to get interesting around page 10 - after you get thru all the "rent-from-owner" web site listings. I think if you search on the island you are interested in and "vacation rental" or "apartments" you will find lots. It seems like they have many modern resort complexes with apartments. But finding something more interesting is a bit harder.
