I am in Zurich, something I did not expect to happen. No guide book, and surprisingly few web resources avail. What are the top 10 things you would recommend. I dont want to break the budget, I went to the Kuntsthous Art museum yesterday (b-c its free on Wed open till 8PM). What else would u recommend?

Also, any budget places to eat? Prices outragious but quality seems ok. I actually found the Relais desserts bakery éric Baumann Confiserie Baumann actually quite good and reasonable considering, out of the way neighborhood.

Great thanks for your help. A better question might be best undiscovered or little known places-things in-about Zurich. Would like to step outside of the "Euro-trash scene" (for lack of a better word) and see something traditional, local, or less comercial. Took a nice hike up to the panorama, will go to "bobo" street market in old town tomorrow morning to see how it compairs with the one in the 6eme of paris.

Its been a long foodie (but nonetheless slow travel) trip on my side here, so I dont really have any guide books for my 2 week stay in Zurich. Might be worth it to pick up one.

Going to bicycle around the lake Zurich, any nice areas or villages I should see? Any Villages near Zurich that are nice? Any reasonable priced resturants u recommend? Thought the Confiserie-Patisserie Eric Baumann was very good and prices in line with paris. Anyplace else u recommend? where is the hip village-obekampf neighborhood?
