i hope to be able to male a "side" trip to Belgiom in Oct. either Pre-Italy or after-italy in mid Oct.......have a wonderful "open jaw" Continental Air ticket& want to take full advantage! I was in Belgium 3 yrs ago & fell in love with this charming country, - would like to stay away from the large cities (anthwerp & brussels) and concentrate on smaller venues...ie: namur (the "sister city" of my home-town in La.) and maybe even smaller village(PREFER smaller) have been to Bruge & Ghent as well, and altho they certainly deserve a 2nd visit, I'm not wanting to do these cities on this short trip (3-4 days at most)....ANY info on lodging, dining, etc. would be much appreciated. we (husband & i) are doing this as economically as possible....thanks for assistance! aimee
