Pauline, We have been successfull in finding an exchange in Kandersteg, and after looking a review, I see that you actually stayed in the apartments we are planning the exchange with, Adams Alpine Eden. Can you tell me a bit about the back yard/garden they have? Thanks. Beth
Bill and Pam who own Adams Alpine Eden are a great couple. They bought an old hotel on the main street of Kandersteg a few years ago and renovated it. They live in a large (beautiful) apartment on the main level and rent out very nice apartments on the two floors above. The building is on the main street (but you don't get much noise because this is a dead end valley - not that much is past the hotel on the road - but you do get some traffic) and the garden area is behind.
I don't really remember the garden because we were there in October and it was cold and rained a lot. I do remember that it was very large with trees.
Thank you for your reply. I've shared it with my other family members and we will be exchanging their 4 apartments for our 15 family members for our beach front condo in Florida. It won't be for another year, but we are all very excited. I shared your review with my family. Thank you.
