We would like to take Fandango off the list.

We have been going there for 20+ years and the specialty for us has always been the paella - whenever we see paella on a menu we try it and have never found any that rivals Fandango's, but they have changed the way they are making it and it just doesn't make it, IOHO. We are going to let Pierre -owner- know how we feel, but there are no guarentees that he will go back to the old ways ...

So, either the Spanish Bay rest. - Roy's, Peppoli or Sticks, or Rio Grill, Lugano or Robata are on the list.

Does anyone have any feelings any way or the other?

If Fandango's goes back we can put it back on the list.

Hi...Back from Egypt and ready to be looking at the next GTG. I am in for the weekend of the 12 of June. Would like to drive down Friday afternoon and stay through Mon morning. Have you started to talk about convenient/good places for that? Any recommendations? I will want my own room but would be nice if some of us are at the same place. As far as restaurants and other activities goes, I am good to have someone tell me where to be and when....don't know the area....Thanks! Darci

Now that I am home and have verified, I will definitely not be able to make the June GTG, so I will check out the July GTG posts and see if it can fit into my plans. I am sorry we can't make it in June, but my mom and I plan to travel to see my bro in Sitka, Alaska and that is his only available weekend. Busy guy....

What a bummer, please try to come for the July gtg, Colleen is coming to that one, and Judy/Bill mentioned they may make it to the July event as well.
