Sorry to miss you, Judy and Bill. Marcia, I'd love to see one of your new rice bowls -- you must bring one with you tonight! See you all in a bit. --Sharon

My daughter, Tracey and I sure had a good time last night. We had fun at Fog City Diner and as Kathy said in her blog, we literally all packed ourselves in Sharon's car to hit desserts at Ghiradelli Square. (Someone had to sit on David's lap and it was not Marcia! ) Good thing there were no SF cops enforcing the seatbelt laws! Good idea on the progressive GTG, Kathy. Marcia, David, and Kathy started with wine tasting at the Ferry Building, dinner at Fog City diner, walk around Aquatic Park where we enjoyed evening views, and dessert at Ghiradelli square. Thanks for driving, Sharon, and talking us out of walking from the restaurant to chocolate heaven. Hmmm, I can recreate these activities when friends come to visit the Bay Area. Great time!

And we have some incriminating evidence, i.e. a slew of empty ice cream dishes, to prove it. So when I get home and can work on those pictures . . It was a really fun evening, and it was nice to meet Tracy, Eden's daughter, who just might come down with her mom for Slow Bowl. Eden has captured the "progressive" moment above; the walk along Aquatic Park as the sun was setting over the Golden Gate Bridge was stunning, I am not sure I have ever been there quite at that moment before. Dinner at the Fog City Diner was also good as we started with a plate of truffle oil asiago cheese french fries to share. Enough said. Good times, good friends,

Thanks, Marcia -- I was trying to pretend I hadn't actually eaten those. Oh well, truth comes out ... yes, they were delicious! It was a great evening for sure. And it was an amazingly beautiful night in the city. I have never seen the Bay as calm and still as it was then -- the water was like glass! Thanks everyone for a GREAT time! --Sharon PS I'm making cupcakes tonight -- a trial run for Ed's BD next week!
