Well, I was supposed to return to Los Angeles on Jan 31st, which is today, but I just flat out wasn't ready to go yet! So I have extended my stay another 3 weeks which presents the possibility of another GTG with anyone here in Rome through February 21. Any takers? Also thinking about spending 3 days in Florence this week; Feb 2,3,4 because you can get the best rates off seson now! Anyway, if anyone is around
let's eat! Ciao, Elizabeth

Ma....come mai?

Maybe a dinner at my house in Civita. In a pinch, there's no problem with you staying overnight. Feel free to email me about this!

Hi Liz I will be in Rome Feb 3-7 planning to go to Piazza Navona for Today show taping on Monday.

If you decide to stay in town or when you get back I'm game to get together.

Hey Liz! Didn't know you were in town. I'm pregnant with number 3 and so have been a bit of a homebody these days, but would be great to see you.

What a coincidence - I was in Orvieto yesterday. Be sure to ride the funicular to and from the station. Cannot make Today Show tomorrow, sadly, but dinner tomorrow would be a possibility. Be in touch!

Well, I still don't know why the TODAY show is going to be in the Piazza Navona, do you?
ok let's try to meet there. I do know that where there are big crowds it can be tough to find someone. And it might be so cold that you have to wear a coat. I sent you my cell number privately if you want to call me in case we have a hard time finding each other.

well, just as I thought, it was impossible to connect in the Piazza Navona with only a Michigan State sweatshirt to go on. I was there at 1pm for 1/2 an hour and most people were bundled up tightly. We have had at least two days of that bitterly cold wind. No biggie. I just walked over to Maccaroni and had a great Troife all Pesto. Hard to find this dish in Rome and I loved it.
Finished with a sgroppino and all's well in Rome.

Hello Liz! I've recently gotten real busy and don't think I'll be able to head into Rome before the 21st...so have a great flight, and do let us know when you're back in Rome again!
