Sheena, we figured if your cellphone was busy, you were busy. Missed your company, however the goodies nearly made up for it.
28,000 calories later ... I picked up AnG from the Skytrain station and we went off to Thomas Haas, lovely sandwiches and lattes, pastries and many $ spent on chocolates. Then dropped them off at Lonsdale Quay and they are going to take the Seabus back to Waterfront station downtown. Logistically brilliant if I say so myself. I think we've managed to convince them to return to Canada.

As for us, we are off on 5 days in the San Juan Islands tomorrow. With chocolates in hand.

Janie, Terry had my phone - I have no idea who he would have been talking to! I knew where you were, but you figured correctly I just couldn't get away. Still at it - just taking a quick break!

I am sorry to have missed Graham and Annette, and goodies at TH! Did you meet Carolyn?

Have fun on the San Juans - I hope the weather is good to you.

Hi Janie and Sheena.

Sorry we missed you Sheena but we had a great afternoon. Thanks Janie for picking us up and organising lunch, it was one of the best afternoons we have had. Enjoyed the trip across the harbour and walked back to our apartment. We then walked all around the waterfront and English Bay (should help to lessen the affects of lunch on the wasteline0. Found Cafe de Paris and Raincity Grill but couldn't get into either immediately so had an enjoyable seafood dinner at The Pacific Crab finished off with a gelato from nearby and then walked home. Thanks for a great day and enjoy your little holiday

Okay you guys - I am seriously jealous! Next time I'm up there it'll be Thomas Haas for sure! It all sounded so yummy!

Glad you all had a great time!

Ann, you bet! I'll take you there anytime.

And you should click on AnG's website for their travel log -- Annette is seriously into food and market photos. I'm told the food shots are so that they don't disappoint their son, who thinks they need to take fine food more seriously. Have no idea which parents he's thinking of, A & G are very knowledgeable and appreciative of good food!!
