I see that there is a Northern California group that gets together. How can I make contact with others in the bay area?

Pamela -welcome to Slow Travel! Best way to connect with other Bay Area STers is to keep your eye on the GTG forum, where gatherings are proposed/announced. The last two summers we have had a Bay Area (and beyond) picnic at an Oakland hills park, and several of us have gotten together a few times when out-of-town STers have been visiting and proposed lunch or dinner.
