Thank you, Marg, for putting it al together and to Jerry and Paul for the gift of those delicious home made jams.

Marg brought a very, very beautiful self-published photo album, "Roma e Napoli", over 190 pages of photos with captions from recent trip to Italy. We will need to meet again, if only to look for better light and enjoy the album as it deserves.

The food was excellent; as Marg said our waiter was from near Sant' Andrea della Valle area in Rome and and he indulgently allowed us to use our halting Italian to feel like the Romans do in a... Tuscan-style restaurant.

The food was excellent and a photo shoot-out took place between Marg, Marion and Jerry, products of which, I see, were already posted by Marg.

We will get together again, in May we hope. It was good to be together.

Another thank you to Marg for organizing a lovely dinner. My venison and duck carpaccio was really excellent; and the lamb pasta was delicious too!

Thank you also to Jerry for the homemade jam. I think that a baguette will be on today's shopping list!

My photos -- using a Sony point and shoot digital, which has a very brilliant flash -- have now been posted.

My nephew arrived at 7:30, and after surveying the situation, he concluded that I need a new garage door. He removed the existing doors and I now have use of my car again. I celebrated with ham and cheese breakfast crepes at La Cigogne on Bayview. Yipeee!!!

Good to see everyone. Looking forward to a May reunion.

Thanks again to Marg for organizing this - it was a wonderful evening. Paul and I were even more lucky to have had the opportunity to join Marion at the ROM for a quick museum visit and martinis.

Dinner was incredible!

Marg's book that she had just published on Blurb of her trip photos was absolutely amazing!

It was a great evening - even more so for Paul who had only been to GTGs in Rome and California . . . it was good for him to realize that they can take place here in Toronto.

I posted a bunch of photos to the wrong category, but this morning I have finally put them into the Miscellaneous GTG 2008 group.

My photos aren't works of art, but we did spend part of the evening experimenting with different cameras. I thought that I would post these for Jerry's benefit -- before he invests in a new camera.

Another GTG in May? - details, details!!!

I am going to make a separate thread for May, but we really are coming, and if anyone could be free for lunch on a Friday afternoon, that would probably be our "free" time away from the reunion plans. Think this is the 3rd weekend in May, need to check real date.
