My wife's biggest worry about our upcoming 4 week trip to Italy is having no one to talk to. I'm comfortable with my "Rosetta Stone Italian" but she has no interest in language study, and would be most happy if she had fellow English speakers to converse with. We will be using an apt. in Montepulciano (again) as our home location from September 12-October 10. Is anyone planning on being in the area then that would be willing to socialize a bit?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I was out of town for a week. We will be "living" in Montepulicano from Sept 12 through Oct 10. When will you be there?

Let me know if the 1st or 2nd of October work for you. If not the 26th or 27th may also be a possibility. I'm assuming that you are not just getting to Italy on the 26th and therefore there's no jet lag issue for you. There's no phone at the apartment but I will have a cell phone that I should get a couple of days before we leave on Sept 11. The address of the apartment is via del Poliziano,40.
