Our October GTG was so fabulous methinks we need to plan for another in April or early May. (I'll be in Italy and France the latter part of May.) I know Elizabeth will be back and I'm ready to come out and play, so lets do plan another day of eating, drinking and making some merry!
Who's in?

We would love to come out and play, but it will have to be later this spring since we will be in Italy (sadly, not!) in mid-April. There has been some talk in another thread about getting together on the other side of LA (maybe Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena area) in early summer. David and I will do freeways in both directions - we had such fun in October.
Sounds fine with me, but I do want to make sure it's good for a few other people and that perhaps Elizabeth is available and that just maybe we can have it at her place again. I'd say the 15th OR the 16th, giving people a tiny bit o' room to see which fits best. I was leaning towards the middle of April, so it would suit me just fine.
Oh pooh, Marcia, I just read your reply. If you can't be there we'll have one in Summer too and I'm happy to pop out your way to meet up for some Din and chat...
Nice try Shannon - dinner at Marcia's will have to wait until we are not under construction - planning to do some long postponed remodeling this spring and early summer. That does not, however, preclude a gathering in any number of excellent dining establishments on this end of town.
Easter is no biggie to me either, but I imagine it is to some. Yup, then the 15th makes sense!
I'd love to do as we did last time and have a pot luck kinda thang. So nice to kick back, eat good food, have the wine a flowin' and just enjoy the company. I far prefer it to a restaurant setting. That being said, a good restaurant is always an option, as long as it is laid back with a no rush attitude.
Elizabeth is back from Rome and ready to GTG!!! Kathy, of course my house is available if that's what the concensus wants. My only reason for not setting this in stone now is that I have just started rehearsals for a new show and that might be opening weekend; which could be pushing the envelope a little too far. I get more info this week from the producer so I will let you know. However, I am totally up for another GTG so let's make it work. Shannon, will you just be back from Venice at that point? It'll be great fun to hang with you again!! Ciao for now, Liz

I will be back! Liz, if it works out, your house would be great (being that it is the coolest house in the universe) but if not, we will work something else out.
ok, we should firm this up. we can definately have it at my place...no problem. let's do it!! what is the concensus for time and menu?? I must admit I am not much of a cook but I excell at eating! I am also pretty good at supplying the right amount of prosecco and italian music. should we organize a pot luck? I await your lead. elizabeth

Hi ladies, Wish I could join you next weekend, but I'm having an Easter brunch, so I will be cooking. I would love to meet all of you another time. Can we plan something in June? Charity will be back, and I return from Italy June 3.
I say we do a pot luck. And yes, Prosecco indeed... I think it's mostly up to our friend Shannon as she is the primary "chef" in our group of ladies. I can make some veggies again, a salad, small dishes, etc. I say we have a nice antipasti with cheese (that apricot cheese you get is to die for).
wow, it's coming right along!! shannon, I can't wait to hear stories of your recent venezia trip and of course you are welcome to stay over at my place. i agree with kathy, let's do italian!! i would love to have a bolognese, kath, if you are offering to make that. That's all i ever want is PASTA!! I have lotsa big pots for the pasta however i am without a big skillet/pan to cook the sauce in. i have been wanting to get one anyway so do you girls have a hint on what i should buy?..maybe just go into williams sonoma? i will supply the prosecco and the "appies" of that great cheese and crackers. I also have some italian "JAMS" i bought while hanging with Judy Ritts in Florence. one of them is hers and it's a bit piccante but to die for. ok hold onto your seats!! elizabeth

I'm just echoing Palma - while you ladies are cooking up a storm next week without us, think about a summer GTG. Can't promise to host until we finish the remodeling project but it would be fun to see everyone.
