I am spinning this topic off of 'May 17th arrival'.

Ha Daniel, your mention of 'family friendly' and 'one year old' reminds me of our first ever trip to Paris with our then two year old back in 1985--yes he is in Grad School now :-)

We have not decided where we will stay in Paris yet when we get back on 28th and 29th. Where will you be staying? We plan to take it easy and probably just hang out and maybe go back to the Rodin Museum that I never tire off.

Let us keep talking and see if we can work out something as we get closer.

Anyone else for lunch on 29th or dinner on 28th or 29th in Paris--we plan to get back to Paris from Nice by 28th afternoon--not sure what time we will be back.

Letha, we are staying on rue Pierre Lescot very close to the Forum des Halles and the Pompidou. Our entire two weeks in Paris are also going to be in the "taking it easy" mode. Lots of parks and other things that our little one will find pleasurable (along with the occasional museum and great meal for Mom & Dad).

We are open for either day pretty much, with perhaps a slight preference for the 28th. Indeed let's keep the topic alive and see if others can join as well.

What happened to the idea of having the GTG earlier, i.e., the 17, since there will be so many STers in Paris then? Unfortunately, I leave Paris on the 27, so I can't join you then.

We leave Paris immediately after arrival on 17th and head to Burgundy/French Alps and then to Nice. So I won't be back in Paris till 27th/28th. But if others are there, I am sure they would like a GTG around 17th too. As Daniel said, let us keep this dialogue going and see how it works out.
