All these great GTG's going on but I don't see anything in New England. How about March-April in Massachusetts? Mark & I would be happy to host and I know there are lots of ST'ers in the area.

Hi Bill,
Just back from Italy and catching up on posts. I'm sure there are many Boston STs who would like to take you up on your offer for hosting a Boston GTG. I know for sure there are a few party people in the Boston crowd- Mindy? Maureen? Amy? Roll Eyes to name a few. Let's keep topping this thread to attract some interest and think about a good date!

Goodness. The last Boston GTG was in March! We're slipping, folks.

Anytime after mid March, except for April 14-21 looks fine for me right now.

Shoot Amy! Chris is hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon and if he does, we're going to be up there on the 15th Frown (right that's patriot's day - or whatever that random holiday is, isn't it?)

We would love to come to a Boston GTG. We'll be away the first part of March, but any time after March 15 would work for us.

Oh my, how could I have missed this! Thanks Colleen for bringing it up to the front.

We would also love another Boston GTG. We are in London from the 10-25 of March but other than that we are open.

Maybe last weekend of March or first of April would work. Kim, maybe you could come up anyway!!

Well, I'm happy to see there is some interest out there! How about a Saturday evening, perhaps March 31 or April 14 (I think Easter is the 8th). If we have an early thaw, we might have really nice weather by the 14th (hope, hope) but either one works for us at this point.

If we can get some votes for one or the other, maybe we should start a new thread so the date is in the title? Look forward to input!

Either date works for us. Thanks for offering to coordinate. As long as it isn't on Passover we are all set. We'll be just back from London (home on the 25th of March) so we'll need a little cheering up!

I vote for March 31st so that Amy (I have never been to a ST GTG witout Amy and Larry attending!) can make it and it will be something to look forward to in an otherwise rather boring month.

One of the moderators can edit this thread to include the date in the title when we decide, William. Thanks for getting this going!

Kim- the marathon route pretty much goes through my living room; I am at mile 25.

March 31 works for me!

I'd love to be there, too, and so far don't see any reason I shouldn't be! I've been out of the loop for a while now, but am looking forward to catching up.

March 31st works for me. It's two weeks after Evan's Bar Mitzvah, the weekend before Pesach begins, and oh yes, our anniversary. Blushing

Looks like we have a go for March 31st. Shall we publish the date? Maybe a moderator can add the date to the title if we hear no objections.

Cheers!! Martini

I was hoping for one so that I could go but now I'm moving to Prague at the end of November so I will miss another Boston GTG. I guess I'll have to wait until we are back to meet local ST folks. If anyone is going to be in Prague over the next 2 years let me know and we can get together.

Saw this while in Florence, but I don't think the date works for me, only as it's the very day before Pesach. But I will be thinking of you guys...

Hi Marion,

Doesn't Passover start on tuesday the 3rd of April? Maybe that could still give you time to get back for the holidays!

Hope you are having a great time in Florence.

Deborah, you just come anyway, that's all. We'd love to have you here with us...see, now you have an excuse. Wink Grin "they need me" is all you'll have to say. Gelato

Yup, Brenda, you are right. But that means that the first seder is Monday night the 2nd. Just not good timing for me to spend the weekend away.

But I can be thinking of you guys as I make my chicken soup.... Martini
