A few weeks ago, I was catching up on some old magazines and read a Food & Wine from last summer. There was an article about Australia's sparkling shiraz and how popular it is during the summer months "down under." We went to one of our bigger wine outlets a few days later and I found some. We made bbq ribs the other day and chilled the sp. shiraz and really, really enjoyed it! I think it would be great with some burgers or chicken or even lamb on the grill. The article mentioned steak as a main course, but sorry, I would still prefer a large Barolo or Cabernet for a good steak.

I'll definitely go back to buy some more Black Chook. I would probably even buy the Rumball's, but for my first time trying it, wasn't quite ready to spend those $$ on something I didn't know if I would like.

Thanks, Aussies!
Sandra
