OK Maybe this belongs in the Living in Italy section but the attention I want for it is probably here. When I was house shopping, I saw this place three doors down from my soon to be home. There was a sign that said "Chiuso per malatia" or close to that anyway. And here it is for sale. Great photos. I really, really need someone to open a great bar, paninoteca, gourmet take out joint near me because all the work on my place will take years and I'll be so hungry. So who's going to be my neighbor? Diva? Anyone? Please!

I had seen this online when you showed us your house!
Interesting... I will look when I come to visit, but am not ready to move again yet!

The licence for this place is for wine, alcohol and non manipulated food, meaning you can't cook there, but serve things that you buy from someone else, or salumi and cheese.

Joanna,
That place is darling! Your town looks very quaint. I'm ready for a change...want to go into business together?! Wink Magari. We'd like to spend a year in Italy and are beginning to save toward that goal, but to buy a business...well, that's another matter. But thanks for sharing the photos!

Joanna, thought of you and your new house adventure when we drove up the autostrasse last week. Did not go into the small villages but admired the beautiful area you will be living in soon.
The business could even sell gelato! GelatoJune

I have no intention of buying anything else or, for that matter, working in Italy either. I really hope someone comes along to make that little bar into a thriving and delicious something though. Even a great cup of Coffee two or three times a day would help. My own project looms large.
