I brought a cake with me to work today...Oreo ice cake with strawberries on the side. The oreo ice cake was pretty easy to make and turned out very good. It is the first time that I have made this cake so I was a bit nervous how it would turn out. It had a bottom layer of oreos mixed with butter and then the ice layer with oreos in it and on top. Simple and good :-)
And the strawberries on the side was nice. It is the main strawberry season now and the Norwegian berries are very tasty. They are in abundance for a few weeks in the summertime so we eat a lot of it. I recommend that you try it out if you visit

I will assume that by "ice" you mean ice cream?
This sounds really delicious. I recently made a "dirt" cake for a little dinner party my mother had. The kids (both young and old) couldn't have enough of it! It was really yummy.
The recipe sounds like the same as your cake except that I used chocolate pudding instead of ice cream.

Yes, with ice layer I'm referring to the mix of whipped cream mixed with egg yokes and sugar that turned into the ice cream layer in the freezer. I think I have to make it again
