Fig gelato! Fresh figs are just about my favorite fruit.

I'll have to suggest fig gelato to my newly-opened local gelateria. Actually, my alterations person has a fig tree in her yard (yes, in Wisconsin- her husband mounds dirt over it in fall) and doesn't know what to do with all the surplus. I'll suggest she sell them to the gelateria next year. Now if I can just wait that long...!
