I hope this is the right forum for this. Coffee

Does anyone have any experience with either of the above?

I want a new, single server, coffee pot. I love my coffee, but only when it is freshly brewed, and not more than 2 or 3 cups a day.

My daughter has one of the older Krups glass lined thermos coffee makers and this works well, but they no longer make that model in a single pot.

We have tried 2 other pots (including metal lined thermal ones) over the past couple of years and coffee just doesn't taste good after a very short period of time.

Both the Keurig and Tassimo use the pod system, and I haven't really figured out if the Keurig can use ground coffee of your own.

The pods aren't interchangeable either, so one kind may be more difficult to find.

Any opinions welcome and appreciated.

Hi Debra,

I have been pondering the same purchase for my Christmas present to myself. I found this weblog, which gives exhaustive reviews of both and is a good way to compare the two models. There is also a forum where users of both post their reviews and experiences:

SingleServeCoffe.com

I haven't really decided yet but am leaning towards a Tassimo.

I did find out the Keurig has a basket you can use your own ground coffee with. A big plus.
