Party?...Anything for a party! April Fool
I've been posting recipes this week (on the blog). Orange shrimp kabobs, chicken and chimichurri.

What are you favorite buffalo wings...fried, grilled, saucey? I usually cheat and pick mine up at 'wings'~ grilled, sauce on the side. I don't like fried (like Hooters) Uh-uh No! Although my son says he likes theirs best (I wonder why??)

We actually have been invited to one here in our little village in Spain!! ( Which cracks me up).

There is only one other American family and they have been here for almost 18 years and he happens to be a big Bear fan and has a big screen TV.

The bad news is it starts at 2 AM here. lol Wink

My husband is thinking about it, but not sure if he will make it as it will make for a wierd Monday ( which is busy for us with Flamenco class and Piano after school).

The food is just hot dogs and pop corn kind of things. Two Brits are coming that lived in the States for a while ,but no one else in the village has a clue about what it even is.

Party at a friends home in the neighborhood. I was asked to make my baked beans as they all love them. All of us "girls" drink apple or lemondrop martinis, plus I'm also bringing lilikoi margaritas while the guys watch the game. I watch the commercials as football was never my sport. It will be a fun afternoon and nite!

Our friends have an annual event they've dubbed "The Supper Bowl." Most of the crowd is more into the food than the football. Our pal Justin makes two chilis (an all-meat pork chili and a vegetarian bean chili) plus wings and cornbread, guacamole, etc. etc.

I'm supposed to bring a dessert but as I just posted here our oven bit the dust today. Luckily, one of their other friends always brings brownies so addictive they've been dubbed "crack brownies" so that takes off some of the pressure.

Lilikoi is passionfruit concentrate that I bring back from Maui. Can't seem to get in here . Makes a great margarita! Palma and I first got hooked on them years ago at a restaurant on Maui and we duplicated their recipe. Lots of calories but ohh so good!!!

If you have access to a mexican market there is a brand of canned fruit juices in blue single serving cans. Sorry I can't remember the brand name. It isn't concentrated but you can buy some really spectacular tasting fruit juices including passion fruit. If you don't have a mexican market at least here in the SW there is a brand of fruit juice (also in single serving cans) called Kerns. Here in Phoenix you can get passion fruit.

My best friend and I always use superbowl Sunday as super shop Sunday. The stores throw on these spectacular deals, lots of them serve free goodies. 3 years ago we bought our car on Superbowl Sunday. We were literally the only customer's the dealership had all day. We got a SMOKING DEAL!! I try to save up my big ticket item purchases (if at all possible) to Superbowl Sunday. This year it's a computer. Last year a new stove.
