Definitely hide them for yourself! And in the fridge if your house ever gets very warm, since too warm a room causes them to leak. These things are SOOOOO addictive! We are definitely going to stock up for the summer. (Fortunately, I can usually buy them down the street at my local alimentari.)
MANY thanks for sharing the link. I'm sure you've helped a lot of Pocket Coffee addicts today!
Pocket Coffee is a liquid coffee filled chocolate! The coffee inside is as strong as you can imagine liquid coffee can be... and the whole thing is absolutely addictive (if you like chocolate and coffee, of course!). The problem is that you might not be able to sleep in three days if you eat a whole box...
There's something very disconcerting to me about that little shot of espresso in the middle of the candy. Kinda creepy, in fact!
I know others love it, though, and I'm guessing the pocket coffee addicts on this board have already swooped in and placed an order to stock up their supply.

Years ago, living in Germany, we became firmly addicted to Mon Cherie, another fabulous Ferrero product. THe ones in the states don't have booze in them, but the ones over here do. I brought them back to the states as little gifts for years.
Last week, I saw Pocket Coffee near the checkout in Venice's Billa supermarket. Remembering the posts I saw here, I bought a pack. We were hooked after just one! I came hoe with a half dozen packages and now have to go order some more. Thanks for another addiction! Sharon

Giulia, They are great! But my friend did exactly what you warned against (eating the whole box--5 pieces--at one time). She didn't sleep that night! Sharon
I saw them at a good price so I bought 5 of those little 5 packs and mailed them to my kid in the US. Postage was more than the €5 I paid for the candy, but she was thrilled to pieces. She has not so far called to share them with the rest of our gang. I warned her that they will dry up and go all crystalline if not eaten. She doesn't care.
all I can say is don't dare have even one of these if you are prone to panic attacks! My spouse loves them and I thought--how bad could ONE be--well, I had to take a Xanax, that's how strong they are! I thought I'd jump out of my skin! But they sure taste good. I wish they'd make them in decaf !!(but I guess that defeats the purpose for most people!)
My case arrived today--just in time to give a pack to my cousin who was flying back to Napa, CA, tonight. I'm doing my best to spread the addiction! Sharon
We've been experimenting with our pocket coffees. I heartily recommend popping them into the freezer for a few hours. The espresso doesn't freeze--it just gets slushy. Gotta remember not to eat them after dinner--I have to get some sleep tonight! Sharon
